COVID-19

The situation with COVID–19 is extremely dynamic and evolving rapidly. Guided by recommendations from the CDC, Department of Health, and our state government, CHOICE Regional Health Network and Cascade Pacific Action Alliance will continue to be flexible and make adaptive decisions focused on safety and care for our staff, partners, community members, and clients. We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation very closely and are committed to supporting our partners and community members during this time.

Following the social distancing guidelines from the CDC and Governor’s Inslee’s “Stay Home. Stay Healthy” order, staff are currently working remotely. Please email reporting@cpaawa.org for assistance.

Upcoming Trainings

The Washington Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (WCAAP) CHPW is hosting a Rapid Behavioral Health Education series for primary care providers who care for children. This training series offers effective behavioral health interventions via telemedicine, tailored to the unique and challenging contexts children and families are experiencing right now.

  • Dr. Larry Wissow, head of child and adolescent psychiatry for Seattle Children’s Hospital/UW and Dr. Francie Chalmers, pediatrician, Skagit Pediatrics, have teamed up with Dr. Robert Hilt and the Partnership Access Line to create this education series.
  • Every two weeks, from April 30-June 11, participants will watch two 15-minute training videos, at a time convenient to you, on specific clinical content and then join a live facilitated 60-minute discussion sharing what you have learned with other participants, case examples and what help or additional supports you need. Any provider can register here and recordings will be available following the live events on the WCAAP website. Topics include:
Thursday, April 30, 7:30 – 8:30 AM: Introduction to the trainings
Thursday, May 14, 7:30 – 8:30 AM: Relationship-building skills with patients; Structuring telehealth visits
