Professional Milo
Hi everyone! CHOICE Furry Friend Milo here, discussing life during COVID-19.
This is a confusing time for all of us. My mom’s the Executive Assistant at CHOICE. She gets dressed every morning to go to work… but then she doesn’t leave! I am very happy to be able to spend so much time with her, but we have to remain professional during work hours. That’s why I am dressed in my tie and ready to tackle the day through remote working.
One of my favorite activities is riding in the car to the pet store for dog food. Since we are under a “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” order from the Governor, my food is arriving at the front door instead. It is like magic! I am unsure how they know where we live, but I will never turn down treats and food. Mom is very thankful for the delivery drivers working right now to keep other humans home as much as possible.
Other things are being delivered to the front door as well, including gelato from our favorite local store Sophie’s Scoops. We love supporting local businesses, and this is a safe and delicious way to do so!
My dad is currently away for work. This means I am relying on my mom for everything. Not to worry, we are resting and recharging to maintain our mental and physical health. Every day, I am going on multiple walks, sitting on my mom’s yoga mat, and taking long naps.
