In an effort to encourage family physician participation in local Accountable Communities of Health, the WAFP Foundation is offering stipends to its members to help offset the necessary time away from the clinic. The Foundation believes that WAFP’s membership would benefit from having insight into the work being undertaken by the ACHs, and the ACHs would benefit from the on-the-ground perspective of a clinically-based family physician.

To be eligible for this stipend, applicants must be members in good standing with the WAFP, must have at least 16 hours of clinical care responsible as part of their typical week, and would not be compensated for ACH participation by their employer.
